Because the system imposes so few restrictions on designers and architects it has huge potential where other than rectangular suspended floors are being considered, and even here it can prove advantageous if not economical.
For floors, balconies and other elements with curved edges or irregular shapes, the system is superior.
For floors with multiple and/or irregular penetrations, these can all be incorporated before the panels are delivered to site.
For many civil applications, such as bridge decks which are often skewed or curved in plan, the Transfloor system is the most practical solution.
